This repair can be done only in Laminated windshield, as it consists of three layers in general, One PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) sheet in between two glass layers. This repair is suitable only for a few types of damage like Chip, Star, Bulls eye, Half moon and Combination. All this can be repaired if the size of the damage is less than a one rupee coin. We help you in saving your hard earned money.

Windshield Replacement


Replacement of a windshield typically takes less than an hour.Replacing your car windshield by our glass professionals not only make your car look good rather provide you with full safety when an object hit with the windshield. The windshield is a fundamental safety unit of your car. It lends 40% structural strength to the car roof. If you get caught in a rollover, the windshield works as a support beam and prevents the car roof from caving in and collapsing on you and your loved ones.

In all our windshield replacement we use 3M and PU5758 adhesives. The real curing time of genuine adhesives takes 2hour from the time of fixing the glass. Hence this adhesives not only holds your glass rather protects your car windshield frame from corrosion.

Car Glass Window Tinting

Golden Glass House (autoglassexperts.in) does not offer auto glass tinting service because we decided to keep our focus on windshield repair and replacement. The reason is quite simple. We find there can be an inherent conflict of interest between these two services that places the customer at a disadvantage.

Since many of our clients ask us for auto glass tinting service, we did not want to leave them to roll the dice on just any “here today – gone tomorrow” type of shops.  So we started this as a value added service.

 

Window film or Sun Film is a thin laminated film widely uses in the automotive segment for car window glass. We use R.T.O approved INDIAN STANDARD Sun Films has a transparency of 70%. It keeps the heat out of the windows and make your journey comfortable.

How long will it take to replace my windshield in your shop?

The windshield replacement process will take about 1 hour depending on the type of vehicle.

Your vehicle is safe to drive away when we return your keys to you. We will inform you if there are any special circumstances concerning your windshield replacement.

Can I wait for my car while the windshield is being replaced or repaired?

Absolutely, yes

Do I need an appointment for my rock chip/crack repair?

An appointment is recommended but not required for rock chip/crack repair. Walk in clients are served on a first come first serve basis and could result in greater wait times.

How long does it takes to get my rock chip repaired?

The repair process will take about 15-25 minutes depending on the damage to your windshield and the weather outside. Crack repairs may take slightly longer, about 20-35 minutes.

Can the crack or rock chip in my windshield be repaired?

If you have a rock chip and it is less than the size of a one rupee coin, it can be repaired.

Will the blemish or crack disappear when repaired?

Not entirely. Depending on the damage, typically the damaged area will disappear 50-80% when repaired.

What is your warranty on windshield repairs?

Do we repair/replace sunroofs?

Unfortunately, no we do not. You will need to contact your dealership or an auto body shop for service on your sunroof.

Do we cut other types of glass?

Golden Auto Glass specializes in automotive glass only.

Do we repair/replace car window regulators?

Unfortunately, no we do not. You will need to contact your dealership or auto body shop for service on your door regulator.
